I just wanted to update everyone on this weekend’s activites.

Saturday July 14th:

• Eddie, from the RacePics forum, will be hosting the Saturday night Cruise-In at the Burger King on Jackson St. extension. There is always a good crowd, so make sure you show up early. Be sure to check out the “Heads-Up” racing forums over at www.racepics.net. There’s plenty of smack talking going on that is sure to amuse you as much as it amuses me.

Sunday July 15th:

• I’ve heard a rumor that a group from the club will be making the trip to the State Capital Dragway on Sunday in an effort to flex some horsepower muscle. I will be bringing a camera and video recorded in order to catch some good footage. I’m wondering if we’ll see Barney make a couple passes?? Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be putting the 67 Chevelle on the track (yet).  But, I will be driving mine down there if the weather holds out.
