Hey everyone, the 4th annual Cruisin’ Southern Style car show is right around the corner. This year’s show will once again benefit the Louisiana State Trooper’s, Troop E, “I Wish” program. Our club, with the support of the Paragon Casino Resort and all of you Hot-Rodders, was able to donate $4000.00 to Trooper Scott Coco to help make a child’s wish come true.

The attached flyer is for all of you who would like to get an early registration in. Please check back here often as we’ll be updating the site with events and information for all of you who are attending.

Update 7/6/2010 – Man, this page gets a lot of views. I didn’t realize so many people searched for BBQ!!!

This month�s club meeting will be combined with a club BBQ at Johnny Perry�s home/camp on June 20th. We�ll take this time to discuss the Cruisin� Southern Style at the Paragon show coming up in November.

We ask that each club member bring a dish, desert and/or drink, while the club will provide the chicken, sausage, and boudin.The cooking will start at 3:00 with dinner being served at 7:00.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.

I would like to thank everyone who braved the chilly weather to attend the 2009 show this past weekend. We were blessed to have a beautiful, although cold, day to share our love for this hobby.� Please check back as I’ll be updating this post with the total money raised for the “I Wish Foundation”.

The Pinks All Out that was held in Shreveport at Red River Raceway will be airing July 24th at 8PM.  Be sure to check it out.

The 2008 Cruisin’ For a Cure open car show will be held on March 22, 2008 in Alexandria, La. The show will be held in it’s normal location next to Albertson’s near Chili’s.

The show will be from 10AM ’till 3PM. There will be door prizes, event T-Shirts, and a lunch with registration. Registration is $30.00 per car and there will be no spectator charge. All makes and models of vehicles are welcome. All money raised will go to The American Cancer Society!
