Louisiana Nursery Festival

Join us for our next club meeting at the Louisiana Nursery Festival on Saturday March 17, 2007 from 9:00AM – 3:00PM. We will be cooking sausage and hotdogs and they’re free. Make sure you bring a friend.

There will be a parade at 10:00 so bring lots of candy. Following the parade, members will cruise to the empty lot next to the elementary school.

The nursery festival will have plenty of food, arts & crafts, and fun. Make sure you try to attend as we’ll use this time for the March club meeting.

Spring Fling Festival

The Cotile Lions Club presents the Spring Fling Festival Classic Car Show on Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All makes and models of cars & trucks welcome. Registration will be from 9:00AM to 12:00PM and the cost is $10.00 per Lions Club Logo car. One free lunch is provided per car. Trophies will be presented for the Top 20 plus several special category trophies. This is a participant judged show.

Come and and enjoy the Spring Fling Festival, formerly the Cotile Trade Days. There’s antiques, arts & crafts, glassware and all types of goodies for the ladies to look at. Public admission to the event is $.50.

Cruising on the River!

The Cruising on the River Open Show, sponsored by the River City Bad Boyz Club, will be held May 11-13th. This is a great show held at a wonderful site on the banks of the Mississippi River in Vidalia, La. Events include a Friday evening BURN-OUT contest and drive in show.

Over 150 awards will be given including TOP 100 – BEST OF SHOW – BEST ENGINE / PAINT / INTERIOR. The first 250 vehicles  will be given a dash plaque and there will be a BBQ Grill given to each of the top two clubs with the most registered cars.

Cajun Hot Rod National’s ’07

Link to Cajun Hot Rod Nationals '07 Flyer The Cajun Hot Rod National’s 2007 will be held May 25-27 at Chretien Point Plantation, just north of Lafayette. There will be a kick-off party at IronHorse on Friday night. A cruise will be held Saturday night, ending at Cajun Harley Davidson where a live band will be performing. Indpenedent judges will be determing the awards. Classes include TOP 100 – TOP 25 – CAJUN 8 – BEST IN SHOW – BEST INTERIOR – BEST ENGINE – BEST PAINT – BEST CHEVY – BEST MOPAR -BEST FORD – BEST TRUCK. Cajun 8 winners and their guest will be treated to breakfast at Chretien Point Sunday morning before the awards ceremony.
